Rahul Sawhney, Founder & Managing Partner

Mr. Sawhney has been a successful private equity investor for two decades. He has had experience in buy-and-build, carve-out, buy-out, and turnaround investment strategies, primarily within the consumer and industrial sectors.

Mr. Sawhney has made control, private-equity investments in middle market companies and led or participated in; making add-on acquisitions in North America, Europe, and Asia, recruiting executive management teams to portfolio companies, instituting appropriate governance and reporting structures, establishing strategic plans with company management, overseeing the execution of value creation initiatives, and establishing and/or executing exit strategies. 

He has previously served as a Board Member for numerous companies, including Thomas Nelson, Focus Products Group, MSDP Group, Premier Thermal Solutions, CTM Group, Techniks Tool Group, Twinstar International, Modere, and XPerience Restaurant Group. 

Prior to his tenure as an investor in private equity, Mr. Sawhney was in the banking industry for approximately a decade working in corporate risk management, restructurings and capital markets.

Mr. Sawhney received his Bachelor of Technology in Electronics & Communications Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology, India and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Outside of making investments, Mr. Sawhney enjoys spending time with his wife of twenty years and their two children.
